• The Plot:

  Eddie Morra, played by Bradley Cooper, is a struggling writer with chronic writer's block and no motivation. His life changes when he discovers NZT-48, a mysterious pill that grants him full access to his brain's capabilities. 

• The Drug's Effects:

  NZT-48 allows Eddie to learn at an incredibly fast rate, recall any memory, and gain enhanced sensory perception, turning him into a financial wizard and a genius. 

• Consequences:

  Eddie's newfound powers aren't without risks, as he experiences dangerous side effects, addiction, and encounters others who are after the drug, setting him up for a battle against internal and external forces.
